Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has notified for conducting Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2013.

ISS - 36 vacancies
Age Limit: Age limit must having between 21 years and 30 years as on 01-08-2013. Age relaxations will be applicable as per Govt rules.
Education Qualification:
Postgraduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics for Indian Economic Service vacancies.
Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from recognized university for the Indian Statistical Service vacancies.
Selection Procedure:
Based on their performance in written examination and interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/-(Rupees Two Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
SC/ST/Female/PH candidates are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply:
Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online using UPSC Website on or before 16/09/2013 till 11:59 PM.
After submission of Online Application candidates must take the print out of application form and keep it safe for further use.
